No Rain! Qualifying held no real surprises. Let's take a look.
- Dakoda Armstrong
4th place. 2/10ths of a second off pole. If his skill in traffic translates from midgets to stock cars he's a real threat to
win the race tomorrow.
- Nelson Piquet Jr.
7th Place. He continues to improve. We'll see if his speed can be maintained in traffic. They don't have that in F1 ya know.
- Danica Patrick
12th place. Actually she tied for 11th place, but lost the tie on points. I don't think she'll have any trouble with the traffic
but this is a short race and Dancia usually saves her surge for the end. Timing and strategy will be the key.
- Ricky Carmichael
14th place. Solid effort.
- Alli Owens
19th place. Slower than expected.
- Steve Blackburn
22nd place. Also slower than hoped, but still solidly in the field.
- Leilani Munter
25th place. A big jump to safely make the race.
- Milka Duno
41st place.(provisional) Lucky to be in.
- Jenny Jo Cobb
42nd place.(provisional) Also lucky to be in.
- Jerick Johnson
DNQ. What will the Legionaires say?
Schedule
The race is tomorrow, Feb 6, 1:30PM PST
Update: The final practice session was cancelled due to rain. That means some of the drivers in the race have NEVER driven
in the draft. Boom-boom crash-crash.
