May 11 - Luggage Store

Really ragged set tonight. I just have to get out more. I'm still averaging 60 hours a week at work, with no end in sight.
 

May 18 - Luggage Store

Got to the show in the triangular window space. I love being on display like that. When the show started there was a pile of people waiting to get into RENT.The thought struck me that none of the characters in RENT could afford to see RENT. I found it ironic that people walk by a group of struggling performers, to see a show about struggling performers.
 

May 22 - Java N More

Not bad. I hadn't planned on going out tonight, but my sister is leaving town soon, and wanted to see me do comedy before she left. I had good eye contact with the audience, and the individual bits worked fairly well.
 

May 30 - Punchline

First time back there in months. Very good show. For those of you who are fans of standup, you should go to the showcases and Punchline and Cobbs. Great shows. (Even if I'm not performing that night.) Remember people, promote yourself to bookers and such. How will they know you're funny if you don't remind them.
